Job Description

Role Summary: Technical Lead and Service delivery. Own operations and resilience (DR/BCM), deliver secure solution designs for new requirements, and drive cloud adoption/migration (AWS/Azure) with strong governance and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery: Own infrastructure and security operations across on-prem and cloud; ensure availability, performance, capacity, and SLA compliance.
  • Architecture & Transformation: Design secure, scalable infrastructure solutions for new requirements; lead technology selection, RFPs, and delivery governance.
  • Cloud (AWS/Azure): Execute cloud adoption/migrations; define connectivity, security baselines, and cost optimization.
  • Core Platforms: Lead AD, Exchange/O365, endpoint services, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and app delivery (Citrix XenApp).
  • Resilience (DR/BCM): Own DR strategy, run DR drills/failovers, and meet agreed RPO/RTO with updated runbooks.
  • ITSM & Security Governance: Drive incident/RCA, change controls, monitoring improvements, and compliance alignment (ISO 27001, CIS).
  • 14–18 years in IT infrastructure/service delivery and solutioning (BFSI/Insurance preferred).
  • Strong hands-on exposure: AD, Exchange/O365, DNS, endpoint management, secure access controls.
  • Virtualization & app delivery: VMware/Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp.
  • Cloud: AWS and Azure (migration + steady-state ops); cost and security governance.
  • DR/BCM ownership with DR drills/failovers and defined RPO/RTO.
  • ITIL/ITSM practices (incident/problem/change), KPI reporting, vendor/OEM management.
  • Security governance and audits: ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks (plus WAF exposure is a plus).

Key Deliverables / KPIs

  • Availability: Meet uptime targets (e.g., 99.95%+) and reduce recurring incidents.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Improve P1/P2 resolution time and RCA/problem closure.
  • Change Success: Reduce failed changes and improve deployment success/lead time.
  • DR Readiness: Successful DR drills/failovers and adherence to RPO/RTO.
  • Security & Compliance: Baseline compliance and timely audit observation closure.
  • Regulated BFSI experience with audit/regulatory interactions.
  • Monitoring/observability and automation exposure
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect
  • ITIL Foundation
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor
