The Role

We're looking for a Senior Klaviyo Specialist & Team Lead to own technical execution across accounts while leading and developing our specialist team.

This is not just execution — you'll act as the bridge between strategy and implementation, ensuring everything we build in Klaviyo actually drives revenue.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership

  • Build and optimize advanced Klaviyo flows (welcome, post-purchase, winback, abandoned cart, etc.)
  • Execute lifecycle strategies across email & SMS with strong segmentation and personalization
  • Own QA and ensure flawless execution across all accounts
  • Troubleshoot deliverability and technical issues (SPF, DKIM, etc.)

Strategic Collaboration

  • Partner with retention strategists to translate strategy into execution
  • Push back on plans that won't work — and propose better solutions
  • Identify opportunities to improve retention, LTV, and repeat purchase

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of Klaviyo specialists
  • Review output quality and set implementation standards
  • Train new hires and build internal processes

AI & Process Optimization

  • Use AI tools daily (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve workflows
  • Build systems to automate QA, reporting, and execution
  • Continuously optimize team efficiency and output

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Klaviyo (required)
  • Strong background in retention / lifecycle marketing (DTC/ecommerce)
  • Experience managing multiple accounts (agency experience preferred)
  • Deep understanding of segmentation, flows, and performance metrics (LTV, cohorts, etc.)
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Strong communication skills (client-facing experience is a plus)
  • Active use of AI tools in your workflow

Bonus Points
  • Experience with Shopify ecosystem (Recharge, Rebuy, etc.)
  • Email development knowledge (HTML, CSS, Liquid)
  • Deliverability expertise
