Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using Java (8+) and Spring Boot.
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude (Claude Code) and Cursor to accelerate development, automate code generation, refactoring, documentation, and test case creation.
- Integrate AI-driven solutions where applicable to improve healthcare workflows and data processing.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and secure handling of PHI data.
- Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices architectures.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Conduct performance tuning, security hardening, and system optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and healthcare SMEs.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in healthcare systems (Claims, EHR/EMR, Eligibility, Billing).
- Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards.
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / Developer Associate or Professional).
- Exposure to AI/ML integration within enterprise applications.
Additional Job Standards
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture.
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and Cursor for:
- Code generation and refactoring
- Unit/integration test generation
- Documentation automation
- Code review assistance
- Solid understanding of relational (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Strong knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
