About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team at Wissen Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-scale web applications that are critical to our clients operations. Your primary focus will be on creating robust server-side logic, managing central databases, and ensuring the seamless integration of front-end and back-end components. A solid understanding of front-end technologies is essential to facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java-based programming, particularly with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA, and possess a deep understanding of RESTful API development and Microservices architecture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of at least 6-8 years in Java-based programming, with a strong portfolio of high-quality code.
- In-depth knowledge of Core Java (version 1.8), J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Gradle for efficient project management and automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and guiding team members to achieve project goals.
- Ability to analyze requirements thoroughly and execute tasks with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Java-based web applications in line with project specifications.
- Implement server-side logic and integrate with front-end components to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to support distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues proactively.
