About Netskope

Today, there's more data and users outside the enterprise than inside, causing the network perimeter as we know it to dissolve. We realized a new perimeter was needed, one that is built in the cloud and follows and protects data wherever it goes, so we started Netskope to redefine Cloud, Network and Data Security.

Since 2012, we have built the market-leading cloud security company and an award-winning culture powered by hundreds of employees spread across offices in Santa Clara, St. Louis, Bangalore, London, Paris, Melbourne, Taipei, and Tokyo. Our core values are openness, honesty, and transparency, and we purposely developed our open desk layouts and large meeting spaces to support and promote partnerships, collaboration, and teamwork. From catered lunches and office celebrations to employee recognition events and social professional groups such as the Awesome Women of Netskope (AWON), we strive to keep work fun, supportive and interactive. About the Team:

The Corporate IT Infrastructure team manages the critical systems, cloud platforms, identity stack, and global networks that power the enterprise. Our environment includes Meraki, Juniper (switching, Mist Wi-Fi, Juniper secure connect), Netskope NPA/BWAN, Cloudflare DNS, Infoblox DDI, Azure, AWS, and on-prem Microsoft AD. We are a fast-moving team focused on reliability, scalability, automation, and strong security practices.

The Opportunity We are seeking a senior engineer to own and advance our enterprise-wide infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of network, cloud, and identity, requiring a leader who can drive stability and innovation in a complex hybrid environment. As a member of the Corporate IT Secure Workplace team, you will focus on building a reliable, scalable, and secure foundation that powers our global enterprise.

Strategic Impact (Responsibilities)

  • Infrastructure Ownership: Design and manage global office networks, cloud environments, and identity stacks to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify systemic bottlenecks in IT processes and design automated solutions that improve the team's overall velocity.
  • Customer Zero Initiative: Act as the primary internal customer for our own security and networking products, providing critical feedback to engineering and operationalizing our technology internally.
  • Automation & AI Forward: Develop automation workflows and scripting to eliminate manual tasks and integrate AI-driven solutions to improve root cause analysis and operational efficiency.
  • Cloud & Identity Governance: Administer multi-cloud landing zones and identity directories, ensuring strict adherence to security baselines and lifecycle management.
  • Security & Zero Trust: Implement and optimize zero-trust architectures and secure access service edge models across the corporate footprint.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Security, Workplace, and Business Systems teams to lead office buildouts, cloud expansions, and modernization projects.
  • Incident Leadership: Lead resolution for complex, multi-layer technical outages and maintain comprehensive documentation and operational runbooks.
  • Mentor & Coach: Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and helpdesk staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Technical Depth: 810 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems, or network engineering within hybrid environments.
  • Broad Expertise: Advanced proficiency in enterprise routing, switching, wireless technologies, and VPN administration.
  • Cloud Fluency: Proven ability to independently manage major public cloud providers, focusing on networking, IAM, and cost governance.
  • Identity & Directory Services: Deep experience with enterprise identity providers and directory service hygiene.
  • Tooling & Scripting: Strong skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash to drive an automation-first culture.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: A proactive learner who stays ahead of infrastructure trends and is eager to experiment with new technologies.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A focus on creating a frictionless experience for employees while maintaining rigorous security standards.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear updates for cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, post-IPO environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, CS Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
