Your Key Responsibilities

We are hiring a Senior IT Solutions Engineer with 10+ years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database administration and Linux administration. This role focuses on 3rd Level Support, advanced troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and permanent issue resolution for critical manufacturing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd Level Support for Manufacturing Applications infrastructure focussing on Oracle Database and Linux administration
• Handle complex incidents, problem management, and advanced troubleshooting
• Perform RCA and implement permanent corrective actions
• Plan and execute Oracle Database and Linux patching, migrations and upgrades
• Drive service stabilization, recovery, and operational improvements
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, patching plans, and technical documentation
• Work independently and within a product team
• Coordinate with internal teams and, where needed, the Managed Service Provider
  
  

Your Qualifications

Required Experience

• 10+ years Oracle Database administration experience
• 7+ years Linux administration experience
• Strong experience in incident management, problem management, and RCA
• Strong work planning, self-organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Relevant certifications required to validate experience
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Database 19c+, Oracle Cloud Control 13.5+, Oracle RMAN
• Linux: SUSE Linux 15+, Oracle Linux 8/9, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9
• ServiceNow
