A IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex IT programs and projects across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to translate strategic objectives into successful outcomes. The individual is expected to manage end-to-end program execution with strong governance, risk management, and dependency tracking while ensuring alignment to business goals and enterprise standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, and monitor the execution of technical projects to effectively manage contract cost, schedule, scope, quality, and risk.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all support activities and resource needs, and assign duties and responsibilities to staff.
- Oversee completion of tasks, report risks/issues, and identify mitigation within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
- Monitor and oversee that employee and subcontractor deliverables are on track.
- Engage in collaborative communications, both written and verbal, with stakeholders within the company.
- Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level professionals.
Key Responsibiliti es:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects and programs using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
- Drive program execution and established governance frameworks
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and delivery expectations
- Coordinate with cross-function al teams including engineers, architects, and product owners
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across programs
- Establish and maintain program plans, status reports, and executive dashboards
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and quality benchmarks
- Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and delivery retrospectives
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7+ years of IT experience with strong exposure to project and program management
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- Hands-on experience with program governance, risk management, and stakeholder management
- Experience in Enterprise solution delivery preferred
Good to have: Domain knowledge in telephony, IVR, automation
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills o Ability to work independently and lead cross-function al teams
Certifications (Recommended):
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
- SAFe Certified
