Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking an experienced IT Service Management Analyst to oversee server lifecycle management and CMDB data integrity. This role involves managing the complete lifecycle of IT assets—from deployment to decommissioning—while ensuring data accuracy, governance, and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making, improving system health, and supporting IT service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end server lifecycle activities including deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning
- Maintain and support Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within ServiceNow
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across IT asset records
- Perform server decommissioning activities with working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and VMware environments
- Analyze CMDB data to generate actionable insights for IT service management
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor CMDB health and performance metrics
- Track assets and support technical debt reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data completeness and alignment
- Manage IT service tickets and support operational workflows
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and training materials
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in IT service management and data analytics
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (CMDB module preferred)
- Working knowledge of server environments (Windows, Linux, VMware)
- Experience with reporting tools and dashboard creation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
