Job Description
Seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer to lead end to end SAP S/4 data migration across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial domains. This role defines migration strategy, governance, tooling, mock cycles, and cutover readiness in a multi entity environment. Requires hands-on SAP data migration expertise, strong data quality knowledge, and transformation governance leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Data Migration Strategy
- Define and execute SAP S/4 data migration strategy aligned with SAP Activate.
- Establish governance, templates, standards, and documentation.
- Drive clean data practices and best‑practice solution design.
- Lead mock loads, reconciliation, defect management, and audit readiness.
- Align migration plans with Project Managers and business stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and timely migration metrics and status.
Migration Tools
- Configure and execute SAP S/4 Migration Cockpit (LTMC/Fiori).
- Build migration objects, mappings, staging logic, and validations.
- Utilize LSMW for ECC legacy migrations and transition to S/4 frameworks.
- Use enterprise ETL tools (Informatica, SAP SLT) for large‑volume conversions.
Data Ownership & Quality
- Lead migration for M&A integrations, deployments, and ERP transitions for
- Ensure complete reconciliation between legacy and S/4 systems.
- Define validation rules and automated checks.
- Partner with MDM teams for master data harmonization.
- Support SOX, ITGC, and audit control requirements.
Cutover & Deployment
- Develop cutover plans and migration runbooks.
- Lead mock conversions and dress rehearsals.
- Coordinate cross‑functional and technical teams.
- Ensure smooth migration with minimal business impact.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8–12+ years SAP data migration experience.
- 4+ SAP full lifecycle implementations (including 1 S/4).
- Proven leadership of migration workstreams.
Required
- Strong SAP S/4 Migration Cockpit and LSMW expertise.
- Experience with ETL/data migration tools (Informatica, SLT).
- Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
- Experience with high‑volume master/transactional data.
- Strong reconciliation and financial validation capability.
Preferred
- Aerospace/Defense or regulated industry background.
- Central Finance migration experience.
- Carve‑out/separation program experience.
- Familiarity with automation and validation scripting.
- Exposure to data governance and MDM frameworks.
