Job Description: Senior Interior Designer Furniture & Turnkey Interiors

Job Summary:
The Senior Interior Designer will have complete responsibility and authority to handle all types of interior design projects from concept to execution. The role requires strong capability in understanding and managing client requirements, preparing presentations, producing detailed technical drawings, selecting materials, and coordinating with factory and site teams to deliver high-quality, executable designs.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
1. Client Requirement Handling & Coordination
Independently handle and understand client requirements, briefs, preferences, and expectations.
Translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic design solutions.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design discussions.
Manage design changes, revisions, and value engineering based on client feedback.
Act as the primary design contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Complete Design Ownership
Handle end-to-end interior design for residential, commercial, office, hospitality, and retail projects.
Take full responsibility for concept design, detailing, approvals, and execution support.
Ensure designs are practical and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
3. Concept Design & Presentations
Develop design concepts, themes, and mood boards.
Prepare professional PowerPoint (PPT) presentations for client and internal approvals.
Clearly explain design intent, materials, finishes, and furniture concepts.
4. Technical Drawings & Detailing
Prepare and review 2D AutoCAD drawings including isometric working drawings, sections, and elevations.
Create isometric drawings for furniture and interior details.
Ensure drawings are manufacturing-ready and site-executable.
Design and detail custom-made furniture, fixed furniture, and loose furniture.
Coordinate with factory production teams for feasibility and execution.
6. Material Knowledge & Selection
Strong working knowledge of fabrics, leather, and stones.
Select and specify fabrics (upholstery, curtains), leather types, and stones (marble, granite, quartz) as per client approvals.
Ensure material selections meet design intent and maintenance requirements timely.
7. Site & Execution Support
Provide design clarifications to site and factory teams.
Conduct site visits as required to ensure proper design implementation.
Resolve design-related issues during execution.
8. Team Leadership
Lead, guide, and mentor junior designers and draftsmen.
Review and approve all drawings and design outputs.
Maintain consistency and quality standards across all projects.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong authority and capability to handle all types of interior designs independently.
Excellent client-handling and Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), isometric drawings, and PPT presentations.
Optional Knowledge of SketchUp / 3Ds Max / V-Ray / Lumion preferred.
Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing and turnkey interiors.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.

Timely delivery of drawings and presentations.
Design quality and execution accuracy.
