Job description

As a Sr. Interior Designer, you are the architect and visionary for our clients. You will be responsible for designing client projects within budget and stipulated timelines keeping their needs and preferences in mind. These projects could be residential, hospitality or offices etc.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Meet new clients, and understand their requirements in detail. Own your projects from start to finish, all design deliverables- Drawings, Presentations, Material selection, BOQ.
• Client front-ending, brief understanding, and validation to design projects development and coordination from concept to installation stages.
• Work closely with the client and NativeSutra's design team to finalize client project design, mood boards, floor plans, elevations, 3D designs, etc.
• Capability of taking charge and leading projects.
• Collaborate with the execution support team and vendors to ensure your design turns into reality seamlessly. Visit the sites for a better understanding (whenever required).
• Should be able to handle the project from scratch to end.
• Should have experience in managing and conducting client meetings.
• Capability to mentor the team members and delegate their relevant roles effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with varying complexities.
• Must have an eye for detail and quality output.
• Must have immense knowledge and interest in materials and their applications.
• Type up and organize meeting notes, project status, deliverables
• Maintain organized client binders
• Plan and complete the project in the given time and budget.
• Organize and manage samples library
• Research new products and materials

Desired Candidate Profile

Degree in B. Arch., interior design or design school.

At least 5+ years of experience in having worked with organized players/studios or as a freelancer.

Strong knowledge and clarity on design process and project management.

Dedicated and focused in work

Prior experience of having delivered built projects

Knowledge of costing and preparing project commercials (BoQ)

Should be able to communicate well in English, be it verbal or written.

Should be self-motivated to be the absolute best at what you do

Required Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD to develop floor plans and elevations

Proficiency in Sketchup, 3DMax will be an advantage.

Proficient in Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Proficient in Concept designing and Mood boards

Ability to multi-task; meet deadlines and is eager to learn and grow with firm

Have a positive, friendly & professional attitude

Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
