Must Have Experience
- Experience with Linux operating system concepts.
- Database-related development and administration experience.
- Knowledge of networking concepts
- Production support and/or significant development experience for Oracle databases.
- Experience with Oracle Technology: Database, Enterprise Manager, Real Application Cluster (RAC), Recovery Manager (RMAN), Data Guard, ASM .
- Strong ability to write and understand SQL.
- PL/SQL programming experience.
- Experience supporting SAP on Oracle will be added advantage.
- Experience in installing/patching/upgrading/migration/cloning of 12c/19c (SAP/Non-SAP) Oracle Database .
- Experience Supporting OS patching for oracle hosted servers.
- Experience in supporting Data Guard Switchovers/Failovers.
- Experience in Backup/Recovery/cloning via RMAN.
- Upgrade Oracle databases to 19c from 12c .
- Refresh non-prod environments from prod environment.
- Patching Oracle : Grid/database home .
Preferred Experience
- Be part of a team that provide s 24 / 7 production support for 300+ Oracle databases.
- Monitor and support standards compliance.
- Work collaboratively as a consultant with development teams to design and develop effective database objects and efficient application processes. Provide performance analysis for SQL Tuning.
