We are seeking an experienced Data Manager to join our dynamic People Operations team. This role is instrumental in building global reporting solutions and people insights that drive strategic decision-making across our business. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in building dynamic data visualizations, and experience facilitating global system alignment through integrations and consolidation.
Responsibilities
- Data Quality & Governance
- Build a global data governance philosophy that ensures data integrity and compliance across HR and other systems.
- Lead data migration efforts across systems to ensure alignment and integration globally, maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and completeness during integrations and implementations.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to document data definitions and sources.
- Data Visualization Creation and Optimization:
- Build central HR dashboards in Looker to clean data, visualize KPIs, and optimize regular reporting.
- Develop custom dashboards as needed to produce acute and dynamic insights.
- Optimize the user experience, enabling customers to access and use data in the desired way.
- Stress test dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency in the data transfer process.
- Automation:
- Recommend and execute on opportunities to automate data discovery and analysis to streamline the data process and provide in-time reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across HR systems and databases globally.
- Partner with Program Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen and streamline system infrastructure through integrations and consolidation.
- Business Reporting and Analytics:
- Create recurring and ad-hoc reports for HR and business stakeholders, ensuring timely and needs-based delivery.
- Produce regular insights for executive-level audience, connecting data visualizations with KPIs.
- Recommend data inputs and visual formats for optimal data storytelling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR data analysis,BI development, data engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in HR systems and data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, ADP, Workday, Looker, Tableau, Python, Salesforce, Alteryx etc.).
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to both technical, non-technical, and executive-level audiences.
- Knowledge of HR concepts and workforce metrics, KPIs, and industry best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data integration.
- Knowledge of HR analytics methodologies and frameworks is heavily desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
