Spartek Group Group Advisor / Independent Transition Executive

About Spartek Group

Spartek is a multi-product group in the construction ecosystem, with ventures

spanning tiles, sanitaryware, precast concrete, polished flooring, infrastructure products, prefabricated homes, and high-end ceramics. The group has developed around 10-12 new products in the past few years, which are for the first time in India. Most products were already successfully test marketed and new business models built, with repeat reputed national customers and strong demand visibility.

To scale up around 10 new products and 2 post turn around companies, we are now seeking a senior independent leader who can first play a bridge role for transition between founder-led and professional-led management.

The Role: Independent Transition Executive

A seasoned executive (retired / independent) with CEO, CFO, or CXO-level experience preferably in construction, industrial, Projects/Dealer distribution networks for sales/marketing, or manufacturing sectors.

The role is part-time but outcome-driven, to reorganize, mentor, and accelerate Spartek's businesses for the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Review & Restructuring Assess management team, reorganize/replace/reinforce as needed.

Turnaround & Scale-Up Drive execution discipline, streamline systems, and unlock growth in high-potential businesses.

Talent Development Recruit and mentor a young, high-energy team ready for larger responsibilities.

Governance & Transition Introduce professional governance and prepare for a future full-time CEO/COO/President role once the company reaches scale.

Who Should Apply

25+ years in senior leadership (CEO/COO/CFO or equivalent).

Proven scale up and turnaround success

Experience in multi-venture/group structures with P&L accountability.

Strong ability to mentor younger leaders and drive results with independence and credibility.

Engagement Model

Part-time / Flexible

Clear accountability for measurable outcomes, not just advisory.

Location: Chennai (with flexibility for travel if needed).
