Why does this role exist
The design team currently handles a large volume of campaign execution, revisions, and creative direction. This role exists to:
- Stabilize and improve design execution speed across the team
- Own day-to-day creative output and campaign delivery
- Guide junior designers and maintain creative quality standards
- Represent the design team in client interactions
This role allows the Creative Head to focus on larger creative thinking, pitches, and award-level campaigns, while this person ensures high-quality campaign execution and delivery across projects.
What You'll Do
- Campaign & Creative Execution
- Lead design execution for campaigns, social-first content, and branded storytelling
- Translate marketing challenges into clear and compelling visual ideas
- Execute designs across static, motion, and micro-content formats
- Lead the creation of campaign masters and key visuals
- Creative Direction & Quality Control
- Guide and review the work of junior designers
- Ensure design hygiene, quality standards, and brand consistency
- Create and maintain brand playbooks and visual identity systems
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with copywriters, art directors, strategists, and creative leads
- Collaborate on campaign concepts, pitches, and creative problem solving
- Coordinate with video teams when working on motion and moving visuals
- Client Interaction
- Present design directions and creative rationale to internal teams and clients
- Translate client feedback into clear creative improvements
- Represent the design team confidently in client conversations
- Creative Thinking & Cultural Relevance
- Stay ahead of design trends, platform formats, and cultural moments
- Ensure creative output stays fresh, culturally relevant, and internet-native
- Project Ownership
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Deliver work quickly without compromising creative quality
- Ensure the design team operates efficiently under tight deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Experience
- 45 years of professional design experience
- Minimum 3+ years in a digital or creative agency
- Proven experience designing for lifestyle or consumer brands
- Creative Capability
- Strong art direction skills
- Ability to take a project from concept to final execution
- Excellent understanding of typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Tools & Technical Skills
Proficiency In Industry-standard Tools Such As
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Strong familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Kling, Nano Banana) for visual creation
- Understanding of motion/video design workflows and creating video frames.
