Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Golang Developer based in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and maintainable backend services and APIs using Go programming language. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality, resolving complex technical challenges, and contributing to performance optimization and microservice architecture design. Working in our fast-paced, collaborative environment, the developer will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, production-grade solutions for our ventures.

• As a Golang Developer specializing in integration, you will play a pivotal role in developing northbound connectors that facilitate seamless data exchange between our Edge Products and a diverse range of cloud services, IIoT devices, databases, and streaming protocols.
• Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain robust connectors that ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of communication between our software and external services. Your work will be essential in enabling our products to scale and adapt to ever-evolving technological landscapes.

1. Develop Golang-based connectors and APIs that enable smooth integration with various cloud services like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and more.
2. Implement support for IIoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, SOAP enabling effective communication with industrial devices and sensors from our products.
3. Create connectors to connect our applications with different databases, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
4. Build connectors for streaming protocols like WebSocket's or HTTP/2, enabling real-time data streaming and communication with external systems.
5. Handle data transformation and serialization/deserialization to ensure compatibility between our application's data format and external service formats.
6. Implement robust error handling mechanisms and ensure connectors are resilient to failures, ensuring a seamless user experience.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality integration solutions.
8. Conduct thorough testing, including unit tests and integration tests, to validate the functionality and performance of the connectors.
9. Optimize code and implement best practices to enhance the connectors performance and scalability.
10. Provide clear and comprehensive technical documentation for connectors and APIs, enabling seamless adoption and integration by other team members.
11. Monitor connector performance, track metrics, and implement logging practices to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
12. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the Golang ecosystem and integration technologies, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
13. Contribute to the development of our open-source projects, sharing expertise with the wider developer community.

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Golang Developer with a minimum of5+ yearsof relevant work experience.
3. Strong proficiency in Golang programming and a deep understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
4. Experience integrating with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and implementing support for IIoT protocols is highly desirable.
5. Familiarity with various databases (SQL and NoSQL) and streaming protocols is advantageous.
6. Solid working knowledge and5+ yearsof experience of data serialization, error handling, and security principles in integration projects.
7. 5+ yearsof experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex integration challenges effectively.
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
