Sr. Functional Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Functional Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with strong expertise in the Finance Module and India Localization, including GST, TDS and TCS. The candidate should have hands-on experience in independently managing end-to- end Finance implementations and should ideally come from a Microsoft Dynamics IT Partner Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV

Finance implementations.

• Conduct business requirement gathering workshops with clients and

stakeholders.

• Analyse business processes and translate requirements into functional

solutions.

• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Business Process

Documents, functional specifications and other project documentation.

• Configure and implement the Business Central Finance module as per

business requirements.

• Handle India Localization, including:

o GST

o TDS

o TCS

o Related statutory and taxation processes

• Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, integrations and extensions.

• Define test scenarios and conduct functional testing.

• Support UAT and ensure successful deployment of the solution.

• Conduct end-user training and prepare user manuals and training documentation.

• Plan and support data migration activities.

• Provide post-go-live functional support and troubleshoot issues.

• Prepare and manage Change Requests (CRs) and functional documentation.

• Participate in designing and improving Business Central add-on solutions.

• Ensure implementation activities follow Microsoft Dynamics best practices and project timelines.

• Interact with clients throughout the project lifecycle and ensure successful delivery.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business

Central/NAV.

• Strong expertise in the Finance Module.

• Experience with India Localization.

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and TCS within Business Central.

• Minimum 3 end-to-end Finance Module implementations independently.

• Strong requirement gathering and business process analysis skills.

• Experience in Business Central configuration, testing, UAT and go-live support.

• Candidates should preferably have experience with a Microsoft Dynamics IT

Partner Company.

• Strong client-handling and stakeholder-management skills.

Educational Qualification

Candidates with any of the following qualifications are preferred:

• B.Com

• M.Com

• MBA – Finance

• CA

• Any relevant Graduate or Postgraduate qualification

Good-to-Have Skills

• Advanced Excel

• Good presentation skills

• Excellent verbal and written English communication

• Experience with Business Central add-ons and integrations

• Strong documentation and analytical skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a confident Business Central Finance Functional Consultant who can independently manage client requirements and deliver end-to- end implementations. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Finance processes and India-specific taxation requirements and should be comfortable working directly with clients and coordinating with technical teams.
