Job Description
D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant involves all aspects of implementing & supporting Dynamics solutions from pre-sales work through the project life cycle to go-live and ongoing support.
You will be leading Solution Design sessions, assisting with configuration, assisting with data migration deliverables, creating required interface design documents, functional design documents and troubleshooting customizations etc.
Requirements
- Analyze business processes (Finance) to identify opportunities for improvement
- Identify creative workarounds to meet requirements without the development of custom code.
- Understand the functional capabilities and limitations for out-of-the-box functionality as well as custom code
- Deep functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics F&O Finance, namely: General ledger, Tax, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Fixed assets, Cash and Bank management, Budgeting, Inventory management, Expense management (DCM)
- Analyze, plan, configure, test, and implement the D365 F&O Project Management Accounting Module at the client site.
- Assist the business users in defining the business requirements and preparing Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
- Work with AX / D365 F&O Technical team members and assist them with customization.
- Work with Project Team on AX / D365 F&O customizations testing, roll-out, and post-live support.
- Educate and train the Key Users at the client site.
- Handhold support to customers during UAT, GO Live and Hypecare phase
- Demonstrate an understanding of business processes and business practices
- Knowledge of project implementation methodology
- Knowledge of ERP implementation, configuration, and system design
- Knowledge of Data upload using Excel templates
