Sr. Frontend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of user-focused, immersive, responsive web applications, advocating clean code, testing, process refinements, and continuous improvement.
• Leverage advanced TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, Svelte, React, etc.) and modern styling frameworks (Tailwind, MUI, CSS Modules, etc.) across modern content, commerce, or custom applications.
• Work across web products, including implementation of design wireframes, animation/motion, business logic, backend API interfaces, analytics and SEO, performance, and security.
• Implement pixel-perfect UI/UX designs while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Optimize user interfaces for performance, scalability, and accessibility, ensuring seamless experiences across devices and screen sizes.
• Define, validate, implement, and test approaches to building scalable and performant software.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive conversion.
• Develop and maintain reusable web software components and libraries for internal use to maximize development efficiency.
• Be proactive and results-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and grow; act as a product evangelist with curiosity about technology trends.
• Complete assigned tasks within project constraints and cultivate a collaborative working environment and a culture of technical ownership.

Must Have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building web applications using TypeScript (Next.js, React).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6.
• Experience building reusable code and libraries.
• Ability to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of UI/UX designs.
• Proven record of building large frontend applications with focus on scalability, performance, and accessibility (a11y).
• Proficiency in Bootstrap, SCSS, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with component libraries such as Radix UI and ShadCN.
• Experience with API integrations, including REST or GraphQL.
• Experience building cross-browser-compatible applications that work seamlessly across browsers.
• Experience with at least one headless CMS (Contentful, Sanity, or similar) with SSR.
• Experience collaborating effectively in an Agile development environment.
• Solid foundation in building scalable and performant systems.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Angular/Vue and data visualization frameworks such as D3 or Highcharts.
• Experience using Vercel and any cloud service such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Expert understanding of web accessibility with animations.
• Exposure to cross-functional teams (Design, Product Management, QA, etc.).
