Sr. Frontend Engineer- React

Responsibilities:

●     Design, develop and maintain high-quality, user-centric interfaces and components

●     Work closely with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into effective user interfaces

●     Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness

●     Package and deploy frontend applications using Node-based environments

●     Propose and implement front end architectural changes to improve performance and usability

●     Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) for end-to-end delivery

●     Guide, coach and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development

Requirements:

●     8+ years of hands-on experience building large-scale applications using React or similar frameworks (Angular, Vue.js, etc.)

●     8+ years of experience in front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

●     Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture, including component-driven design, micro-frontends (nice to have), and performance optimization.

●     Solid understanding of web security concepts, including authentication, authorization, CSP, CORS, and secure token handling.

●     Experience with responsive design and understanding of usability and accessibility principles

●     Experience working with cloud-based delivery and networking layers, such as AWS CloudFront, Application Load Balancers (ALB), and CDN strategies.

●     Hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality

●     Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

●     Mastery and real world experience on multiple database platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL).

●     Expertise with the AWS ecosystem.

●     Strong understanding of common data structures and algorithms.

●     Strong understanding of RESTful API designs and microservices architecture

●     Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across onshore and offshore teams.

Preferred:

●     Prior experience with healthcare related products

●     Experience with full-stack development (React frontend and Java/Spring Boot backend)

●     Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Vite or Create React App (CRA)

●     Knowledge of AWS services

●     Background in performance monitoring and observability tools.

●     Strong testing ethic - familiarity with JUnit, Jest, and Enzyme or React Testing Library
