Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Plant Manager, Finance Controller, and plant leadership on financial implications of operating strategies, cost control actions, and key business decisions.
  • Analyze and evaluate operating and manufacturing results, drive productivity improvement, and recommend corrective actions for unfavorable variances.
  • Perform financial analysis, simulation, and cost modeling for new products, quotations, intercompany transfer pricing, and profitability assessment.
  • Own monthly financial close, account reconciliations, reserve adequacy, and financial reporting integrity; ensure timely closure and compliance with Eaton requirements.
  • Lead cost accounting processes, including standard cost maintenance, burden rate development, cost roll‑ups, variance analysis, and verification of production cost allocations.
  • Ensure inventory accounting accuracy across locations, including physical inventory audits, cycle counts, E&O review, DOH calculations, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Reconcile manufacturing transactions between Oracle ERP and Oracle GL (Sales, COGS, PPV, Scrap, Usage Variance, E&O, Surcharges) and resolve interface issues.
  • Lead ad hoc initiatives, including ERP implementations, system upgrades, and financial support for new business opportunities, revenue recognition, and project accounting as applicable.
  • Analyze materials, labor, routing changes, equipment utilization, and capacity to assess productivity, cost impact, and profitability; prepare PPV and supplier analysis as required.
  • Support freight cost management, FX hedge administration, and cash forecasting in coordination with Materials and business teams.
  • Maintain SOX compliance, internal controls, and accounting integrity in line with Eaton's financial policies, ethics, and values.
  • Contribute to CI initiatives and business cases related to cost, quality, KPIs, and EBS/VSM/BPI linkages; perform special cost analyses and cost‑out evaluations as assigned.

Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in commerce/science and professional qualification like Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant , or equivalent.Minimum of 4/5 years professional experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.

Skills

  • Sound working knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements.

  • Financial modeling skills will be essential
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP & Financials
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to coordinate and support CFT
