Senior Financial Analyst

Global Reporting & Analytics (PG25)

This position reports into R&A Hub Team and is based at Bangalore, India.

What You Will Do

As part of our globalization strategy, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A Reporting & Analytics Team.

Our purpose is to maximize business value from FP&A, combining Finance, Data and Process Skills. This role is crucial for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of global financial processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness in coordinating between the regions across the world. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis, process assessment, and change management, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Update and maintain Actual vs. Forecast performance reports to track financial results and key variances.
    • Perform data accuracy checks and ensure timely, reliable reporting aligned with closing timelines.
  • Global Process Assessment and Improvement:
    • Conduct thorough assessments of existing financial processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline workflows.
  • Implementation Support:
    • Assist in the deployment of new FP&A tools, including testing, data mapping, and validation.
    • Contribute to planning and executing training sessions for system users, ensuring successful adoption.
  • Data Management:
    • Oversee data mapping and validation activities to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
    • Manage large datasets to support reporting and analysis needs, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between finance, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are effectively communicated and implemented.
    • Foster effective communication and collaboration across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership in Closing and Planning Cycles: Coordinate and lead efforts related to the closing and planning calendar, ensuring alignment across teams and adherence to timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance FP&A capabilities and create value for the organization.
Required Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a global or matrix environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and data mapping processes.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with financial systems such as OneStream, SAP, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity or curiosity about Lean/Six-Sigma will be a plus.
