Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Finacle Customization Consultant with
10–16 years of hands-on experience in Finacle 10.x customization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise within the Finacle ecosystem, particularly in the
Loans module, and demonstrate the ability to design and implement customized banking solutions aligned with business requirements.
The role requires close collaboration with business analysts, product teams, and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Finacle customizations that enhance core banking capabilities while maintaining system stability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Finacle Customization & Development
- Design and develop custom solutions within the Finacle 10.x environment using Finacle scripting.
- Create and configure Service (SRV) workflows to automate business processes.
- Develop custom batch jobs using Finacle scripting for efficient data processing.
- Utilize Finacle MTT for transaction creation.
- Customize existing Finacle product menus by adding new fields, validations, and functional enhancements.
- Develop new custom Finacle menus including criteria screens, detail screens, result screens, and multi-record menus.
Database & Reporting
- Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, and database objects using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL*Plus.
- Customize and develop Finacle reports using MRT (Maha Report Template) and Jasper Reports.
Frontend & Integration
- Implement frontend enhancements using JavaScript and JSP.
- Work with Java-based integrations where required.
- Support integration with external systems via APIs or service layers.
Troubleshooting & Analysis
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to Finacle customization and configuration.
- Provide timely solutions to ensure system stability and business continuity.
- Support production issue analysis and resolution.
Finacle Platform Knowledge (Operational & Technical)
EOD / BOD Process Understanding
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Finacle End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) processes at both SOL and bank levels.
- Monitor and manage EOD stages and menus during CEOD/CBOD processing.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that may block business date change.
Finacle Architecture & Integration
- Understand the Finacle 10.x three-tier architecture:
- Presentation Layer
- Application Layer
- Database Layer
- Explain how transactions flow across these layers.
- Work with integration components such as:
- Web services
- APIs
- ESB or middleware integrations.
Finacle Customization Practices
- Deliver Finacle customizations such as:
- Custom menus
- Reports
- Scripts
- Business validations
- Interface integrations.
- Implement user exits, custom validations, and parameter configurations to support bank-specific requirements.
Finacle Core Tables & Database Analysis
- Demonstrate working knowledge of important Finacle database tables including:
- GAM (General Account Master)
- HTD (Transaction Details)
- DTD (Daily Transaction Details)
- GSP (General System Parameters)
- IT (Interest Table)
- Write SQL queries to perform:
- Data analysis
- Issue debugging
- Production support investigation
- Reporting support.
Loan Module Process Expertise
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the complete loan lifecycle in Finacle, including:
- Loan sourcing and sanction
- Disbursement
- Interest accrual
- Repayment
- Loan closure.
- Work with Finacle menus and tables related to:
- Loan disbursement
- Loan rescheduling
- NPA classification and handling
- Interest recalculation.
Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10–16 years of hands-on experience in Finacle 10.x customization.
Finacle Expertise
- Strong functional understanding of the Finacle Loans module, including retail and commercial lending processes.
Technical Skills
- Finacle scripting and SRV workflow development
- Custom batch job creation
- Oracle PL/SQL and SQL*Plus
- Finacle reporting tools (MRT, Jasper Reports)
- JavaScript / JSP
- Core banking customization.
