Designation- Senior Team Member
Reports to- DGM_ Procurement
Location- Delhi
Role Description And Purpose
The job holder provides procurement support to business
teams that are directly supporting our APAC customers. The job holder is
expected to help ensure our supply chains are effective and responsive such
that they help us exceed the expectations of our customers and help us win and
retain business.
Purpose - Broad objective of the role
Responsibilities
Work with pre-sales/ bid manager team on
understanding the scope of bids/ deals and map appropriate vendor
considering capability and commercial feasibility
Create and develop relationships with key
suppliers and stakeholders
Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers
for goods and services ensure the best terms possible are obtained to win
customer deals within a stringent timeline
Ensure purchases are executed in a timely
manner and in accordance with the company's policies.
Track and report key functional metrics to
reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Collaborate with key persons including demand
& delivery manager to ensure clarity of the specifications and
SLAs
Develop risk management plans for key
category areas to ensure security of supply
Seek out supply chain advantages to help the
business improve its ability to compete and win
Job Requirements
Experience of working in a similar role
ideally within a telecom environment
4-6 years procurement experience at least
half of which should be in Telecom, IT companies.
BTech / MBA qualification is must
Experience of working in a pre-sales
environment is must
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management
Skills
Good knowledge of sourcing, procurement and
supplier management
Experience of leading contract negotiations
for network, IT (including software licenses)
Well organized and self-motivated individual
capable of working with a high degree of autonomy
Ability to work under time pressure and with
some amount of ambiguity
Possess analytical skills to determine the
best deals for the company and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of
each supplier based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors
Job Requirements
understanding of Enterprise Business in Telecom Industry- 4 to 5 years
versed in Telecom networks and IT procurement
understanding of Purchasing & Negotiating Network, UCaaS, Security and
Hosting Services contract
understanding of Cost (Should be able to derive cost) and spend management
To have- Network background or experience
candidates from Engineering background (Prf. from Tier 1 or Tier 2 college)
