Sr. Executive / Specialist - Indirect Taxation

ValueLabs is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance & Taxation team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GST compliance, indirect taxation, analytical skills, and logical reasoning abilities to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and adherence to statutory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Review, prepare, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.

- Ensure timely compliance with GST regulations and statutory requirements.

- Reconcile GST data with books of accounts and identify discrepancies.

- Handle GST notices, assessments, audits, and departmental queries.

- Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and evaluate their impact on the organization.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for tax-related information and documentation.

- Maintain accurate records and supporting documents for tax compliance.

- Analyze taxation data and provide logical solutions to complex tax issues.

- Support tax planning and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of GST and indirect taxation.

- Experience in filing GST monthly and annual returns.

- Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills.

- Good understanding of tax compliance, reconciliations, and reporting.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/taxation systems.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

- Relevant experience in Indirect Taxation / GST Compliance.

- Experience handling audits and tax assessments will be an added advantage.
