Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role supports the Quality Systems & Compliance function across document control, training coordination, purchasing control, and complaint management. It ensures compliance with relevant Abbott Policies and divisional documentation requirements, with emphasis on managing change control, performing impact assessments for divisional documents, and maintaining effective document retention practices.

The position manages the Affiliate training program per Abbott Policy, overseeing the site training matrix, execution of training assignments, ComplianceWire administration, and facilitation of new employee Orientation.

It also supports purchasing control by reviewing POs to ensure use of approved suppliers, maintaining supplier documentation such as SSA and criticality assessments, and tracking supplier reevaluation activities to ensure timely completion.

Additionally, the role handles consumer complaint registration within defined timelines, maintains complaint documentation in TrackWise, and ensures accurate and uptodate complaint tracking.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Document Control - (30% of time)

  • Ensure compliance to Abbott policy and applicable division requirements related to document control and management. Manage change control and impact assessment process
  • Ensure document retention process.
  • Ensure effective change impact assessment for division document.

Affiliate training coordinator - (20% of time)

  • Ensure compliance with Abbott Quality system and division, local requirements related to employee training management.
  • Manage and monitor the site training matrix and ensure implementation of the training program requirements
  • Responsible for compliance wire training and necessary compliance wire support at site and meeting the training compliance as per site target.
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation plan and its execution.

Purchasing control - (20% of time)

  • Manage PO review process to ensure approved supplier is used for the Affiliate Quality impacted services.
  • Documentation support for supplier documentation such as SSA (Supplier self-assessment, criticality assessment form).
  • Tracking of supplier re-evaluation to ensure all supplier re-evaluation completed within the scheduled timeline.

Complaint management and tracking- (30% of time)

  • Complaint documentation in Track wise.
  • Consumer complaint response management.
  • Maintain tracker for complaint information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in food science/ food technology, science or a related field.

Education Level

Major/Field of Study

Graduate

Food Technology, Food science, Nutrition, chemistry, Biology, or any science stream.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

Experience

Experience Details

Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.

  • Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management
  • Good knowledge of Quality management system focusing consumer complaint, training and document management
  • Power BI and MS excel analytics.
  • QA Audit experience will be an added advantage
