Job Description

  • Preparation and implementation of EHS SOPs in alignment with CEHS policies and applicable statutory requirements.
  • Documentation and support for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Promote and ensure reporting of hazards, near misses, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and other EHS-related activities.
  • Ensure monthly SLT rounds, safety inspections (SI), EHS meetings, and near-miss reporting as per the departmental EHS Index methodology.
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections, share observations with concerned stakeholders, and track compliance.
  • Organize and conduct monthly Plant EHS Committee meetings and circulate MOM to all stakeholder
  • Investigate accidents/incidents and communicate findings across departments for corrective actions and compliance.
  • Conduct periodic fire drills and mock drills.
  • Organize and conduct EHS training sessions, including toolbox talks and on-the-job training (OJT) for employees, workers, and contractors.
  • Develop EHS training modules based on monthly themes and coordinate training through departmental EHS representatives.
  • Maintain and ensure timely updating of fire and safety documentation as per SOP requirements.
  • · Coordinate EHS campaigns such as Safety Week, Environment Day, Fire Safety Day, and other awareness programs.
