Ecommerce managers are responsible for the online sales of the brand. They oversee the look and feel of the company website and are responsible for generating sales via online channels. Depending on the role, they might oversee digital marketers, web and software developers who contribute to website traffic, design and structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage FMCG product listings across E-Commerce & Q-Commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Jio Mart, Meesho, Sanpdeal, BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, etc.)
- Ensure accurate product information (MRP, pack sizes, nutritional info, images, compliance details)
- Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, expiry dates, and replenishment.
- Coordinate with supply chain, distributors, and dark stores for timely fulfillment.
- Plan and execute online promotions, deals, and festive campaigns.
- Track Sales Performance, Secondary Sales, and ROI of promotions.
- Manage Pricing, Discounts, and Margin structures as per FMCG policies.
- Monitor product visibility, search rankings, and share of shelf online.
- Handle Customer reviews, ratings, and product feedback
- Analyze competitor activity, pricing, and offers
- Ensure compliance with FMCG regulations, labeling norms, and platform guidelines.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and stock reports.

- Experience with E-commerce (Electronic-Commerce) & Q-commerce (Quick-Commerce) platforms.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in FMCG e-commerce or modern trade.
- Experience with marketplaces or Q-commerce preferred.
