Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Sr. Executive - Business Development (ESDM) based in Bavla. The right candidate shall own the responsibility of driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth for our ESDM business. You will be responsible for building and managing a strong sales pipeline, positioning our PCBA/Box Build capabilities, and converting opportunities into long-term programs.

  • New Business Development in EMS / ESDM (MUST HAVE)
  • Lead Generation, Prospecting & Pipeline Management (MUST HAVE)
  • Customer Engagement & Proposal/Quotation Closure (MUST HAVE)
  • Understanding of PCBA / Box Build costing drivers (MUST HAVE)
  • Coordination with Engineering/NPI/Quality for RFQ-to-PO conversion
Detailed Requirement(s)
  • Identifying and developing new customers across sectors such as industrial, automotive, medical, aerospace/defence, consumer (as applicable)
  • Building a qualified pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, networking, exhibitions, and channel partners
  • Handling RFQs end-to-end: requirement understanding, feasibility coordination, costing inputs, and proposal submission
  • Working closely with internal teams (NPI, sourcing, quality, manufacturing) to ensure:
  • Accurate technical understanding of requirements
  • Timely quote submission
  • Strong response quality for customer confidence
  • Driving commercial discussions, negotiations, and closure for new programs
  • Tracking customer engagement and opportunity stages in CRM/Excel, ensuring discipline on follow-ups
  • Coordinating customer visits, plant tours, capability presentations, and program kick-off discussions
  • Supporting contract/terms alignment with management and ensuring proper documentation (NDA, vendor onboarding, etc.)
  • Ensuring smooth handover of won business to NPI/Program Management for execution
What you will bring to us:

  • Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business proposals
  • Confidence in customer-facing discussions with engineering, sourcing, and leadership teams
Qualification:
  • B.E. / B.Tech (Electronics / Mechanical / Production) preferred
  • MBA (Marketing/Sales) is an added advantage
  • 5 7 Years of experience in Business Development / Sales for EMS/ESDM / contract manufacturing / engineering products
  • Exposure to PCBA, Box Build, electromechanical assembly, cable harness, sheet metal/plastic sourcing is a strong plus
