Role Purpose

To manage end-to-end inventory flow including in- warding of raw materials, coordination with vendors/suppliers for processing, receipt of finished goods, and timely dispatch of customer orders. The role ensures inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and on-time order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Inward Management

• Receive and inward raw materials (fabrics, trims, accessories) into the system
• Conduct quantity and quality checks against purchase orders
• Maintain accurate stock records (ERP/manual registers)
• Ensure proper storage, tagging, and categorization of materials

2. Vendor & Supplier Coordination

• Issue raw materials to job workers/vendors for production
• Track material movement and maintain dispatch records to suppliers
• Follow up with vendors for production timelines and returns

3.Finished Goods Management

• Receive finished goods from vendors
• Perform QC checks in coordination with design/quality teams
• Update inventory and ensure SKU-wise tracking

4.Order Processing & Dispatch

• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders as per timelines
• Coordinate with logistics partners for shipments
• Ensure accurate documentation (invoices, e-way bills, shipping labels)
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues

5.Inventory Control & Reconciliation

• Conduct quarterly stock audits and reconciliations
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Maintain minimum stock levels as per planned sales and highlight SKU wise shortages

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·        Inventory accuracy (%)

·        Order fulfilment TAT (Turnaround Time)

·        Dispatch accuracy (error-free shipments)

·        Vendor turnaround time adherence

·        Stock loss/shrinkage levels

·        On-time inwarding and GRN completion

Qualifications & Experience

· Graduate in any discipline (Operations/Supply Chain preferred)

· 3–8 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or dispatch roles

· Experience in apparel, lifestyle, or retail industry preferred

· Familiarity with inventory systems/ERP (e.g., Tally, Zoho, SAP, etc.)
