This position within Honeywell P & E organization will be to lead support the PMC Proposal and Estimation (P & E) Vision of developing Excellence in PMC Proposal and Estimating Tools, Training & Process requirements for PMC,

The reporting line would be directly to PMC P & E excellence Sr Estimator

Responsibilities

P & E Process & Tools

  • Support on PMC P & E Tools and related processes.
  • Coordinate deployment of P & E process and tools across the PMC globally, closely coordinated with the LOB and P & E FO & BO Team leaders.
  • Documenting and managing best practices related to PMC P & E Working with current systems including: Sales Force, CPQ, (CRM) SAP (ERP) and various excel and local proposal and estimating tools.
  • Work on the Priorities as defined for PMC Tools like CRM Requirements- Enhancements to improve P&E processes, productivity and efficiency. Automated quote creation in CRM using common process and templates
  • Support on CRM Analytics Working closely with WFP and help set up reports and dashboard for P&E. Incorporate CRM enhancements in standard KPI's and metrics
  • Conduct the VOC Survey for PMC P & E every six months.
  • Maintain and upload Team Atlas Website for PMC org.
  • Support to drive down the cost of generating estimates, and work with projects to identify year over year productivity to be programmed into the tools.
  • Business Relationships: Maintain high level of knowledge of the PMC LOB marketplace, technology and application trends. Solicit resource support and gain acceptance of PMC P & E practices within the LOB.
  • Sales Process: Participate with all FO and BO P & E in the definition of the requirements for configurators, CRM, ERP, Excel based Tool etc, with IT business partners and Common Process and Change Leaders globally; Work with Sales and Operations to implement a robust closed loop feedback process; Implement tool improvements for competitiveness, productivity, timeliness and accuracy.
  • People Management: Serve as change agent - influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best practices and processes; Ensure all proposal methods and sales processes files are in accordance with Honeywell standards and processes; Thoroughly understand and follow company policies especially with respect to exposure of the company to financial risk and adherence to policy and procedures on business ethics; Active member of a team environment sharing knowledge and experience to extend the success of the business unit;. Support the global initiative to refine, update, and implement the HPS PMC estimating tool - and define new estimating tools requirements.

Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements

  • Location – India
  • Travel – Limited.

Key Performance Measures

  • Assess current standards and practices for the PMC.
  • Consolidate current tools and design future tools requirements.
  • Documented and approved Global Best Practices for the PMC LOB Programs that drive continuous improvement Timing of Completions of the Task and Tooling.
  • Work with WFP on Honeywell Metrics/Dashboards and KPIs: Volume, Value, OPE, OTD, CRM usage, VOC,Drive Honeywell Safety culture.

Qualifications

  • Min experience required is 3+ Years.
  • Experience in industrial sales/ sales support including cross LOB
  • Experience with proposals and estimating
  • Proficient with computer based business software/automation tools.
  • Understanding of complex business systems, like CRM and ERP.
  • Expert proficiency at all Microsoft office applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience working with a cross functional organization
  • Global business experience and the ability to work across multiple cultures and geographies
  • Team Management and/or Project management experience is beneficial.
  • Familiar with lean agile processes such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Skills & Specific Knowledge Required

  • Good knowledge of Honeywell products and solutions
  • Strong Communications skills, able to present concise plans and ideas to executive level in a diverse work environment
  • Proven ability to work in virtual work environment
  • Self-motivated to deliver on complex assignment with quality results
  • Demonstrate a global mind-set
