Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sr. Engineer in the Process Department. The ideal candidate must be a Chemical/Process Engineer with strong expertise in Process Engineering Design and Project Coordination for Pharmaceutical, API, Biotech, Food and Industrial Projects. The candidate should possess sound technical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to independently handle engineering deliverables and client interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting client meetings to gather project related inputs and to understand the detailed project scope and requirements.
- Preparation and review of Process Design Basis Reports and related engineering documents.
- Preparation and review of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and process calculations.
- Preparation of equipment sizing calculations, utility calculations, and process engineering deliverables.
- Preparation and review of User Requirement Specifications (URS) for process equipment and systems.
- Coordination with multidisciplinary departments to ensure smooth execution and integration of process requirements.
- Technical evaluation and review of vendor offers, drawings, and datasheets.
- Preparation of equipment specifications, material requisitions, and tender related documents.
- Monitoring project schedules and ensuring timely completion of process engineering deliverables.
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers.
- Coordination with clients, vendors, consultants, and site teams throughout project execution stages.
- Ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines, engineering standards, safety standards, and company quality procedures.
Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech–Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering
- Experience:
- 8-10 Years of experience in Process Engineering Design and Project Coordination.
- Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Consultancy is preferred.
- Software Knowledge:
- AutoCAD
- MS Office
- Knowledge of Process Simulation Software such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or equivalent tools will be an added advantage.
