About this opportunity:
Take this exciting opportunity to join our global professional team at Ericsson as a Network Engineer. This dynamic role not only involves analysis, auditing, design, and optimization of telecom networks but also spans various domains such as RAN, Transport, Core, OM and Services Networks. Our Network Engineer is a crucial part of our process ranging from early engagement, pre-sales of services and networks, to service delivery and acceptance. This role demands a deep technical understanding to deliver high-quality network design, advanced technical network analysis, role in pre-sales tasks, proficiency with Ericsson's cutting-edge analytics solutions, a commitment to driving innovation, and an emphasis on customer-focus and quality service delivery.
What you will do:
- RF planning and design activities for multi-technology networks (LTE, 5G NR, legacy)
- Review and approve RF designs including site configurations, antenna parameters, and frequency plans
- Perform complex coverage, capacity, and interference analysis
- Support major network expansions, new site deployments, and technology upgrades
- Ensure RF designs comply with regulatory, safety, and engineering standards, Understanding of EMF modelling & compliance.
- Act as a key technical stakeholder in cross-functional and vendor discussions
- Understanding of Radio Equipment and cable losses & coverage profile.
- Cluster optimization knowledge.
The skills you bring:
- Expert knowledge of RF planning principles and cellular network architecture
- Strong experience with RF planning tools (e.g., Atoll Planning tool)
- In-depth understanding of LTE and 5G NR technologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Tools knowledge: ATOLL, NRM, Metricell, Site tracker
Experience : 8+ years in planning , Total RF experience: 10+ years
