About the Role:

As our new Senior Engineer - DevOps you'll be part of the GDI (Getting Data In) group under NG-SIEM with a focus on data ingestion at scale. The group focuses on the data ingestion and onboarding experience for NG-SIEM customers, ingesting several petabytes of data per day across multiple regions from 100+ 1st party and 3rd party data sources.

The Integrations team within the GDI group is responsible for building out of the box integrations, framework, platform for integration development and running the connectors that ingest data from varieties of data sources. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team that builds scalable framework, platform and pipelines that ingest data at scale with quality.

Teams in GDI have a great amount of autonomy, and own a part of the NG-SIEM experience, from ideation and development to deployment and feedback. This includes ensuring high quality of the features they deliver, by writing automated tests, and performing manual tests.

What You'll Do:

  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team

  • Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and succession planning

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and ownership

  • Lead architectural decisions and define technical vision and roadmap for the Integrations Platform

  • Establish engineering standards, best practices, and quality metrics

  • Own team's delivery commitments and planning

  • Ensure high quality of features through automated testing, code reviews, and operational excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement of internal tools, processes, and infrastructure

  • Lead and participate in cross-team platform-level initiatives and projects

  • Collaborate with product, security, and other engineering teams to align on priorities

  • Communicate technical strategy and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a management or technical leadership role

  • Proven track record managing and scaling engineering teams

  • Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience in at least one programming language.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps and containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale software systems/products, preferably in SaaS delivery models

  • Demonstrated operational excellence managing services across multiple geographical regions and components

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous deployment practices

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms like Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic Security, Chronicle, or QRadar.

  • Experience in building platforms for data ingestion at scale
