The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement o f goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. This collaborative approach ensures a well-coordinated supply chain that aligns with both organizational goals and dynamic market conditions.

The role requires strong manufacturing plant engineering expertise and customer relationship skills to virtually lead projects that improve plant productivity and optimize manufacturing costs. This is achieved through the application of Reliability, Controls, and Systems Engineering while collaborating closely with plant and corporate teams.
Identify, analyze, and prioritize equipment reliability issues using cost and performance data.
Develop, implement, and manage long-term maintenance strategies to ensure asset reliability.
Leverage reliability metrics, system planning, and cost-tracking tools.
Collaborate with plant and corporate engineering teams to establish maintenance and reliability best practices.
Define critical spares strategy, including min-max stock levels, while optimizing costs.
Build knowledge base on key GMI technologies across processes and equipment.
Develop, track, and report KPIs related to equipment uptime, reliability, and maintenance cost.
Demonstrate measurable impact on uptime improvement and cost reduction.
Independently lead and manage reliability improvement projects aligned with organizational objectives.
Ensure timely project execution through coordination with plant teams and vendors.
Develop expertise in platform processes, systems, and technologies.
Work effectively within cross-cultural, virtual teams using influence and collaboration.
Coach and mentor engineers and plant personnel.
Lead with safety as a core value.
Manage stakeholder relationships and drive continuous Engineering Services (ES) engagement with plants.
Create, maintain, and continuously improve process documentation.
Demonstrate and promote championship values.
Full-time graduation from an accredited university (mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (same disciplines as above).
7 years of related experience.
Relevant certifications in Reliability and/or Controls Engineering.
Proven experience in Reliability or Controls & Systems Engineering.
Strong engineering project management knowledge.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Deliver Results: Demonstrates accountability, works effectively in ambiguity, and collaborates cross-functionally.

Working hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM IST (Monday-Friday), with flexibility as required.

Includes short-term travel to global plants based on business needs.
