Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Engineer/Lead in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet stringent NVH performance targets through advanced simulation and analysis.
Job Description:
1. Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of NVH simulations using advanced CAE tools.
2. Develop and define NVH performance targets and specifications for vehicle systems and components.
3. Conduct comprehensive NVH analyses, including modal, frequency response, acoustic, and transient simulations.
4. Interpret complex simulation results, identify root causes of NVH issues, and propose effective design solutions.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to integrate NVH considerations throughout the product development lifecycle.
6. Correlate simulation models with physical test data, refine models, and improve prediction accuracy.
7. Drive the continuous improvement of NVH methodologies, tools, and best practices within the team.
8. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their growth in NVH expertise.
9. Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation of NVH analysis and recommendations.
10. Stay abreast of emerging NVH technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
4-8 years of proven experience in NVH analysis and CAE simulation within the automotive or similar industry.
Expertise in NVH simulation software such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, NASTRAN, HyperWorks, or VA One.
