What you'll do:

As an Event Platforms Engineer, you will embark on a journey with us as we continue to enhance two capability offerings through our Corporate Service Bus and Apigee. • Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance and updates to IT systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and support end-users.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, providing expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.

All you'll need for success:

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• Must be willing to work varying shifts (Day, Night, Split, or weekends)

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience:

• Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• Airline Industry experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications:

All candidates will need 3+ years experience with:

• Kafka
• Troubleshoot issues in a complex enterprise environment
• Design and implement integration solutions leveraging Kafka
• Flink 1+ years
• 3+ years experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux a plus
• Knowledge of MQ a plus
• Familiarity with workflow and ITSM tools and ticketing systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interface at all levels of the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and perform in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Basic understanding of server-to-server communication in a large-scale network

• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written with all organizational levels
