We are seeking an experienced VERSA SD WAN Network Engineer with strong hands on expertise in design, implementation, and support of VERSA SD WAN solutions. The ideal candidate should have solid routing and switching knowledge, enterprise network troubleshooting skills, and relevant industry certifications including VNX 100, CCNA, and CCNP Routing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and support VERSA SD WAN solutions in enterprise environments
Manage VERSA components including:
VERSA Director
VERSA Controller
VERSA Analytics
VERSA FlexVNF / CPE
Perform end to end SD WAN implementation including:
Branch turn ups
Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
Policy creation and traffic steering
Troubleshoot complex network issues related to:
SD WAN overlays and underlays
Routing (BGP, OSPF, static routing)
WAN links (MPLS, Internet, LTE/5G)
Monitor network performance, availability, and security using VERSA Analytics
Integrate SD WAN with security features such as:
Stateful firewall
IPS/IDS
VPN (IPSec / SSL)
Perform changes, upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal downtime
Work closely with service providers, ISPs, and internal stakeholders
Prepare and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
Participate in L2/L3 support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA)
Follow ITIL change management and operational best practices
Technical Skills & Requirements
Mandatory Skills
Hands on experience with VERSA SD WAN - minimum 4 years
Strong understanding of:
Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, Static Routing
SD WAN architecture and overlays
NAT, QoS, traffic shaping, and load balancing
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Certifications (Mandatory)
VERSA Certified Professional - VNX 100
CCNA
CCNP Routing (or CCNP Enterprise)
Good to Have
Experience in multi vendor SD WAN environments
Exposure to cloud connectivity (AWS / Azure / GCP) with SD WAN
ITIL foundation knowledge
Scripting or automation exposure (basic Python, Ansible - optional)
Soft Skills
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Customer focused mindset
Willingness to work in shifts/on call if required
