Sr Engineer Civil Structure-IQ/PR/02

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join our engineering team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and verifying complex civil and structural deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that all designs adhere to high-quality standards and strict Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines.

### Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design Delivery:

• Obtain, assimilate, and incorporate relevant design inputs from the Lead Engineer and project stakeholders into engineering deliverables.
• Prepare and review civil and structural design deliverables in compliance with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Ensure all engineering drawings, calculations, and documents undergo proper checking and review cycles before release at every revision stage.
• Review critical engineering systems with the Lead Engineer and implement necessary actions to ensure technical quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Coordination & Project Support:

• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of civil and structural designs.
• Liaise with vendors for technical clarifications, documentation reviews, and engineering support.
• Assist the Lead Engineer in manpower planning, work allocation, progress monitoring, and timely completion of deliverables.
• Participate in technical reviews, design coordination meetings, and project progress discussions.
• Support project execution by proactively resolving technical queries (RFIs) and providing engineering assistance on-site or off-site when required.

EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Compliance:

• Integrate EHS principles seamlessly into civil and structural engineering designs and project activities.
• Conduct comprehensive EHS risk assessments for engineering projects and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Monitor the implementation of EHS policies and foster a strong safety culture across all engineering activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and awareness on EHS practices to engineering personnel and project teams.

### Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelors / Masters degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Experience: Strong proven experience in civil and structural design (typically 712+ years preferred, matching a Senior level).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and familiarity with drafting/modeling workflows (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Excellent understanding of national and international structural design codes and standards.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
