Sr Engineer Civil & Structure-IQ/PR/02

Description

The Senior Engineer - Civil & Structure will be responsible for leading and executing complex civil and structural engineering projects. This role requires extensive experience in design, analysis, and project management, ensuring all engineering solutions meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil and structural engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and design assessments for new and existing structures.
• Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards in all engineering designs.
• Review and approve design calculations and drawings prepared by junior engineers and technicians.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and interns to develop their skills and knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15-16 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to challenges.
