Job Description
The Software Engineer (Production Support) ensures the stability and performance of our world-class background check platform. This role is dedicated to real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and code-level defect resolution during critical business hours. You will work cross-functionally with infrastructure and security teams to maintain high system availability.

The Software Engineer (Production Support) ensures the stability and performance of our world-class background check platform. This role is dedicated to real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and code-level defect resolution during critical business hours. You will work cross-functionally with infrastructure and security teams to maintain high system availability.
Shift Timings
This role requires flexibility to work in a rotational shift environment to provide extended coverage:
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Note: Candidates must be comfortable with these timings and potential weekend rotations as business needs dictate.
- Application Support: Provide high-priority troubleshooting and issue resolution across all environments.
- Incident Management: Monitor system health and respond to application alerts during night-shift operations to ensure zero downtime.
- Defect Resolution: Debug, analyze, and implement code fixes for production issues using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET. .
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform investigations into system failures and implement permanent fixes.
- Deployment Support: Manage and support build and deployment processes (CI/CD) during off-peak hours.
- Communication: Provide clear handovers between shifts and updates to stakeholders on critical production incidents.
- Qualifications
- Education: BE/BTech/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in .NET development or production support.
- Backend Tech: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, Web API, Microservices Architecture.
- Web Services: RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, API integrations.
- Database/Servers: SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL, IIS, Windows Server.
- Messaging & Caching: RabbitMQ, SQS, Redis, Memcached.
- Frontend: Ability to debug UI issues in Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- DevOps & Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS Code Build, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Exposure: Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Mindset: Self-starter who can work independently during extended support hours with minimal supervision and strong ownership of production incidents.
