Job Description
As experienced MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Administrator with strong expertise in AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Platform Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) you will be responsible for the administration, reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role requires hands-on experience managing MuleSoft deployments on Kubernetes/EKS environments, implementing SRE practices, automating platform operations, and supporting enterprise integration services. Secondary expertise in Java and Spring Boot development is preferred to support troubleshooting, platform enablement, and application modernization initiatives.

Job Description
As experienced MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Administrator with strong expertise in AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Platform Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) you will be responsible for the administration, reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across multiple environments.
- Manage Runtime Fabric (RTF), API gateways, API Manager, Exchange, Anypoint MQ, and related platform components.
- Perform platform upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of enterprise integration platforms.
- Monitor platform health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Manage MuleSoft Runtime Fabric deployments on AWS EKS clusters.
- Design, configure, and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure for reliability and performance.
- Implement containerization best practices and platform automation.
- Manage cluster upgrades, node scaling, networking, ingress, certificates, and storage configurations.
- Partner with cloud engineering teams to maintain secure and compliant cloud environments.
- Implement SRE practices, including monitoring, observability, SLAs/SLOs, and reliability improvements.
- Automate platform operations, deployments, and infrastructure using DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Develop operational runbooks, documentation, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and support teams.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and perform related duties to ensure platform stability and timely issue resolution.
- 7+ years of overall IT experience with enterprise integration, middleware, cloud, or platform engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform administration.
- Experience managing large-scale MuleSoft environments in enterprise organizations.
- Strong experience operating platforms in production environments with stringent availability requirements.
- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
- Ability to react positively under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task assorted tasks daily

- MuleSoft Certified Professional
- AWS Certification (Developer/Solutions Architect)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CKAD
- SRE/DevOps Certifications
- Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures. The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary. Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
