About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead, design, and oversee electrical systems, projects, and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, project management, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires the ability to handle complex projects, guide junior engineers, and ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and execute electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
Review, interpret, and implement electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (IEC, IS, IEEE), and safety regulations.
Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and power system studies.
Lead electrical installation, commissioning, inspection, and testing activities.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and mechanical engineers for integrated project execution.
Prepare technical reports, BOQs, tender documents, and cost estimates.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, technicians, and support staff.
Manage vendors, contractors, and ensure timely project delivery within budget.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, control panels, DG sets, UPS, and renewable energy systems (solar preferred).
Expertise in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design software.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, team management, and leadership abilities.
Thorough understanding of electrical safety standards and statutory compliances.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
12–15 years of proven experience in electrical project execution, design, and maintenance.
Experience in infrastructure, industrial plants, healthcare, or large-scale commercial projects will be preferred.
