Job Description

Strategic Talent Management

  • Developing and implementing talent management programs, including Talent development framework, talent reviews, career planning, etc.
  • High-Potential Identification: Design and lead robust Hi-Po programs using data-driven assessments (e.g., Hogan, 360-degree feedback) to build a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Succession Planning: Establish a clear succession roadmap for critical C-suite and C-1 roles, ensuring business continuity for our long term vision.
  • Performance Philosophy: Evolve the performance management system from traditional metrics to an agile, continuous-feedback model that rewards both what is achieved and how it aligns with our values.
  • Own talent measurement frameworks and dashboards covering leadership readiness, Hi-Po conversion, internal mobility, and succession risk.
  • Enable data-led talent decisions through predictive insights linking talent outcomes to business performance and growth priorities.

Organizational Development & Change Management

  • M&A Integration: Act as the OD lead for cultural and structural integration of newly acquired entities, ensuring a seamless transition and a unified Happiest Minds identity.
  • Organizational Design: Periodically review and optimize the organizational structure (Business Units, Centers of Excellence, Industry Groups, Corporate Functions) to support rapid scaling and digital-first delivery. Partner with business leaders to align structure, roles, and capabilities with evolving business models and growth strategies.
  • Culture Anchoring: Deepen the SMILES philosophy (Sharing, Mindful, Integrity, Learning, Excellence, Social Responsibility) across the global workforce.
  • Lead enterprise: wide change management for large-scale transformation initiatives to ensure adoption, engagement, and sustained outcomes.
  • Conduct organization health diagnostics, culture assessments, and leadership effectiveness reviews to drive OD interventions.

Leadership & Capability Building

  • The Leader in Everyone: Scale leadership development programs that empower individual contributors and managers alike to exercise influence beyond their titles.
  • Executive Coaching: Provide or facilitate coaching for senior leaders to manage the Risk and Resistance factors identified in leadership assessments.
  • Digital Reskilling: Partner with the technical COEs to ensure the workforce across key functions is equipped for the GenAI/AI-first future.
  • Build structured leadership journeys across career stages (emerging leaders, mid-level leaders, senior leaders).
  • Embed inclusive leadership capabilities into leadership development and succession frameworks.
  • Track leadership capability outcomes and readiness through defined metrics and periodic reviews.

Desired Profile:

  • Masters degree in HR from reputed institute
  • 20 years of HR experience with exposure to Talent Management, Organization Development (OD) & Culture Building
  • Previous experience working in a Mid-size IT Services company, certifications in Coaching (ICF), Hogan, or other psychometric tools are highly preferred.
  • Capable of handling multiples projects / initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion
  • Must have positive and professional verbal and written communication skills and maintain excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, operational and leadership skills
  • Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness
  • A positive, can-do and pragmatic approach to challenges and complexity
  • Ability to interact confidently with Senior Leadership
  • Display sustained energy and determination in the face of obstacles to set and meet challenging targets
  • Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
  • Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with members at all level
  • Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • Ability to use people analytics to predict attrition, identify talent gaps, and measure the ROI of OD interventions.
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational & documentation skills
