Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment processes, and ensure high availability of our production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and microservices.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP), focusing on scalability, cost optimization, and performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Administer and monitor containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools likeCloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployments and environment consistency.
- Take end-to-end ownership of DevOps activities, including environment setup, deployment, troubleshooting, automation, monitoring, and release support.
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve DevOps, infrastructure, deployment, and environment-related issues with minimal supervision.
- Ensure system security and compliance through vulnerability management, patching, and secure configurations.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Drive DevSecOps best practices across CI/CD pipelines.
- Support disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, deployment processes, system reliability, and overall DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment.
- Strong experience with AWS / Azure cloud services (ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or similar.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, VPN, and related infrastructure components.
- Good understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Exposure to security best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability management, and identity governance.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership of DevOps responsibilities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
