Job Description

Job Title: Java Developer

Experience: 6–8 Years

Location: Chennai, India

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 6–8 years of experience in developing and maintaining enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, J2EE technologies, Hibernate, Spring Framework, and AWS services , along with experience in SQL and application monitoring tools. Experience with Navis applications will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, Spring Framework) .
Develop and manage persistence layers using Hibernate .
Build and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda .
Develop scripts and integrations using Groovy .
Write and optimize SQL queries and support database-related development.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch and SolarWinds .
Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning of applications.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

6–8 years of hands-on experience in Java and J2EE development .
Strong experience in Spring Framework, Hibernate, JSP, and Servlets .
Experience with AWS services , especially AWS Lambda .
Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting .
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases .
Experience with application monitoring/logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch and SolarWinds .
