Sr Designer (Architect)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Architect with experience in preparing and coordinating working drawings, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings. The candidate will be responsible for integrating architectural designs with MEP services, ensuring that all drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project requirements and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. MEP Drawing Preparation 

• Prepare and review MEP layout drawings including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems. 
• Ensure coordination between architectural drawings and MEP services. 

1. Design Coordination 

• Work closely with MEP consultants, project managers, and site teams to resolve design conflicts. 
• Coordinate architectural and MEP drawings to avoid clashes during construction. 

1. Drawing Management 

• Prepare detailed working drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings. 
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions. 

1. Site Support 

• Provide technical support to the site team regarding MEP-related architectural issues. 
• Review site conditions and suggest design improvements if required. 

1. Compliance & Standards 

• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. 
• Verify proper integration of MEP systems within architectural layouts. 

1. Software & Documentation 

• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software. 
• Maintain project records and documentation. 

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems coordination 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools 
• Understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting layouts 
• Good coordination and communication skills 
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in architecture (B.Arch) or related field. 
• 3-6 years of experience in architectural and MEP coordination drawings. 

Preferred Experience

• Experience in commercial, corporate interior projects. 
• Exposure to BIM coordination and clash detection.

Budget is upto 6-8 LPA
