Job Responsibilities
Candidate must be from sheet metal stamping company (preferably addressed Automotive)
Design Experience in stamping tool for different types of sheet metal components like Draw, Form, Bending etc.
Good Knowledge of various types of stamping tool design like progressive tool, compound tool, Single stage tool.
Must have knowledge of tool tryouts and troubleshooting knowledge in stamping tools.
Manage tooling project such as schedule, quality , cost control and delivery, analysis and solve the related technical and quality problems during manufacture process and quality control with supplier ensure continuous operation of manufacturing.
Provide detailed quotes for new projects. Able to determine feasibility issues with new projects.
Responsible to develop current stamp dies to meet the project and production requirements.
Clear all the problems that involved in the tooling process.
Solve issues related to stamping process.
Coordinate between customer, internal other department and supplier.
Desired Skill Set
Good in engineering mechanics, strength of materials theory of machines.
A good grasp of engineering and design principles.
Good knowledge on any of the 3D modeling software (UGNX/ SolidWorks / Pro-E/ Catia V5).
Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic.
Knowledge in GDT, stack up analysis.
Excellent communication skills and good team working skills.
Willing to travel overseas for short and long assignments.
Basic understanding of Information Security Management system
