Software: Inventor / Solid Works /Creo/ On Shape / PLM / PDM

Must have skills:New Product Design / Sheet metal design / Plastic Design / Concept Generation / Rapid Prototyping
Skills Required
- Technical ability to Make Engineering Drawings, and 3D models Assemblies with the application of GDT, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Should have a working knowledge and understanding of Mechanical Engineering Practices and Design Principles.
- Understanding of conceptualization / Concept development and detailed Engineering Design.
- Should have an understanding of various manufacturing processes like Plastics / Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Casting / Rapid prototyping.
- Should be capable of handling the assigned tasks individually with good communication skills.
- Must have a good understanding of Engineering Change process and Product Data Management.
- Should have good Analytical and Communication Skills.
- Understanding of FMEA / DFM / GDT / Tolerance Stack up.
- Knowledge of Skeletal modeling / Top-Down and Bottom-up approach / using Configurations and Family Tables would be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand the requirements and work with different teams.
- Make design concepts and drawings to determine the best product and maintain technical compatibility to develop concepts into real products.
- Understand the requirements and work with different teams to implement new ideas.
- Present product ideas to relevant team members for brainstorming
- Perform market research to understand market requirements and initiate innovative product development.
- Analyze new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionalities for all new product development.
- The design considers manufacturability, cost, performance, and durability.
- Conduct design reviews to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.
- Knowledge of GDT, stack-up analysis, and different industrial standards like ANSI, JIS, DIN etc.
- Good knowledge of Tooling, fixtures, and jigs would be a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing/production/assembly processes would be a plus.
- Hands-on experience in various manufacturing processes would be a plus.
