Job Responsibilities
Understand the requirements and work with different teams to implement new ideas.
Make design concept and detail engineering
Design considering manufacturability, cost, performance and durability.
Conduct design review to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.
Knowledge in GDT, stack up analysis, different industrial standards like ANSI, JIS, DIN etc.
Close co-ordination with customers and supplier.
Good knowledge in Tooling, fixture and jigs would be a plus.
Knowledge of manufacturing / production / assembly processes would be a plus.
Hands on experience in various manufacturing processes would be a plus.
Desired Skill Set
Good in engineering mechanics, strength of materials theory of machines.
A good grasp of engineering and design principles
3 years of Core experience in special purpose machine design, Design Calculations, material handling equipment design, motor power calculation, Gear box selection.
Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic.
Knowledge in GDT, stack up analysis.
Good knowledge on any of the 3D modelling software (SolidWorks / Creo / SolidEdge).
Excellent communication skills and good team working skills.
Willing to travel overseas for short and long assignments.
Basic understanding of Information Security Management system
